Monrovia High School Class of 1961

There were over 400 of us when we stood at commencement Thursday, June 15th, 1961. It has been almost 50 years now, wasn't it just yesterday! Art Farr led us in the flag salute, Judy Roberts spoke on, "Our Next Step in Education," Don Teasley followed with, "The Future-With Untrodden Aisles But Locked Doors." Our principal, Dr. Frank Williamson presented the class. Mr. Strubbe was in the top row of the bleachers coordinating the mass movement of tassels. Are you sure that wasn't a few weeks ago?
